Harry and Leslie are preparing to depart for our adventure on America's Great Loop. This trip will take about a year, cruising the "blue highway" from our home in North Carolina through the Chesapeake Bay to New York City, up the Hudson River to Lake Champlain, Montreal and Ottawa. We plan to spend the summer exploring the historic Canadian canals and waterways and reach Lake Michigan and Chicago in September. Our travels will take us along the inland rivers of the midwest where we will exit into the Gulf of Mexico at Mobile, Alabama. We will spend the winter exploring the waters off of Florida and will return home by way of the Intracoastal Waterway in the spring of 2010. We invite you to cruise with us as we experience America's Great Loop.

Preparing for our Trip
